^^shyboy

one room that earns from morning to midnight.

a specialty-coffee and vinyl bar in karlín, prague - built to run every part of the day on one footprint, one team, one brand. opening autumn 2026.

confidential · for invited investors only

the thesis

most venues sell one part of the day. we sell all of it.

a café dies at 4pm. a bar sleeps till 6. ^^shyboy is engineered so the same room, the same team and the same rent earn from the first espresso to the last cocktail - laptops and filter by day; records, natural wine and a cocktail program by night.

what it is

six things, done right.

one cold, brutalist room in karlín, running on a tight set of things people come back for - not a menu that tries to do everything.

01specialty coffeesingle-origin espresso and slow filter, dialled in. the reason the room opens.
02vinyl dayswhole days given to one artist or genre, played front to back. the signature, and the reason to come back.
03natural winea tight, low-intervention list - the easy yes for the evening crowd.
04cocktailsan evening program by luca cerqueglini, two-time czech world class finalist. high-margin, high-craft.
05dogs menua real menu for dogs in europe's dog capital - cheap to run, endlessly shareable, and a loyal community no café can copy.
06adhd+ spaceprague's first room built around adhd and neurodivergent comfort - a loyal, underserved crowd.
why now

karlín is where prague goes next.

karlín is prague's fastest-rising district - design and tech studios, new residents, money moving in, and thin late-night options. specialty coffee keeps growing worldwide, and "third places" built for comfort and identity earn loyalty that price can't. and czechia is one of europe's most dog-owning nations (~42% of households) - yet nowhere is built for them. we are.

the model

five revenue lines, one room.

the same seats turn over from morning coffee to midnight cocktails - so revenue per square metre is built to beat a café or a bar alone.

coffee & foodfilter, espresso, light kitchen - the daytime engineby day
natural wineby the glass and bottle - high attach, easy marginby night
cocktails by lucaa craft program - the highest-margin pour in the roomby night
vinyl days & eventsprogramming that fills slow nights and builds the brandall week
dogs menu & retailadd-on spend, merch and bags of coffee - low cost, stickyadd-on
€14-16avg per person, day (bistro)
€20-30avg per person, night
~€1.7Mprojected revenue, year one (base)

base case · upside to ~€2.9M at maturity with a year-round (heated) terrace

why it defends

a brand, not just a bar.

the vinyl-days format, the ^^ identity and the "come as you are" room are hard to copy and easy to love. anyone can sell a flat white - people come back for a place that feels like theirs. that loyalty is the moat, and it compounds. and the dogs menu turns it into a community: in the country with europe's 3rd-highest dog ownership, being the one room actually built for dogs is a loyalty engine - and a marketing machine - money can't buy.

the people

operators who care about the cup, the deck and the glass.

01

max

founder

built ^^shyboy around the three things he can't live without - specialty coffee, records and a proper drink. wired for sound, music, architecture, art, coffee and food - and a real thing for cars. an aesthete with adhd and the ear of a mystery diner: he catches the one off note before he says hello. the dogs menu isn't a gimmick - he just thinks it's unfair that dogs get dragged everywhere and left with a wait and someone else's crumbs, so he gave them a real seat at the table. shy on the door, warm once you're in.

02

diana kaminetska

general manager

runs the floor day to day - three years on this floor and an msc in business administration. the one who makes it all actually work.

the evening list is his - twice a czech finalist and representative at world class. cold, exact, nothing for show.
